New Year's Eve Torchlight Parade and Fireworks Extravaganza |
Kirkwood will be having their annual torch light parade, the first torch will start down Zachary at 6:00pm, with the parade winding it's way down the run until it reaches the Village Plaza. Immediately following the arrival of the last torch at the Village Plaza (approximately 6:30pm), our New Year's Eve Fireworks display will begin. After the festivities on-mountain are complete, walk across the street to Bub's Pub where we'll ring in the New Year in true Kirkwood fashion with live music and specials throughout the evening.

Actually Elvis’s birthday is January 8, and he needed an entire weekend to celebrate. This is one show you don’t want to miss. They call it a Sea of Elvis. And, they’re not kidding. Everywhere you look, you’ll see him. At the ticket window, fitting your skis, teaching lessons, probably even flipping your burger or dog. Swooping, gyrating and undulating on the slopes at Mt. Skiers/snowboarders will compete to see who can log the most vertical feet in a day. The vertical challenge event uses flaik to track exactly where participants are, have been, their vertical feet, speed, and runs completed throughout the event.
