Black Bears in Lake Tahoe

Every spring the black bears come out from hibernation and begin their quest for food to fill their empty bellys. Sometimes this is inconvenient for us because they like to find some of their food in our trash cans. But most of the time it's just a wonderful sight to see these gentle creatures walking around and foraging within plain sight of us. I got to see two of these bears in my backyard last night.
